Garden Tomb

Nestled amidst well-tended gardens and trees, the Garden Tomb offers a serene sanctuary for prayer and introspection. However, assertions claiming this as the actual site of Christ’s burial and resurrection lack historical validation.

The tomb, carved into a rock face with distinctive skull-like erosion nearby, is located off Nablus Road, just north of the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. Preferred by Protestant pilgrims over the bustling Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Garden Tomb has enjoyed formal support from the Anglican Church in the past.
